Into Arches National Park today, named for, you guessed it, the arches! According to our guide (if I heard him correctly), there are more natural stone arches here than there are in the rest of the world.
Balanced Rock. We were sure it was concreted on!

| Turret Arch |
North and South Windows

| Double Arch |
| I had to wait ages for these two buggers to sod off so I could get a clean photo, but I kinda like them in for scale now! |
| No Sir, nothing phallic here. Nothing at all. |
| Firey Furnace |
| Landscape Arch |
| Caution! Primitive! Difficult! That's Marion! |
We took the hike up to Delicate Arch for Sunset, and came back in the dark. A fair trek to get there, 45 minutes or so, a lot of it across bare sandstone.
There had been recent rain, so a few puddles around, which lead to some lovely reflection pictures.
| The path was pretty exciting at times! |
| I'd guess at well over 100 people there for sunset. |
| Looking back up the trail at the torches of people coming down |
Love your reflection pictures - especially the wee puddle. Love
